Danish: Julebryg fra Kongens Bryghus er et godt bud på øl, som det smagte, da man gik til bords med julemaden i slutningen af det 18. århundrede.

Taste is sweet caramel, banana, toffee and hints of bread dough, dusty hops, syrup and faint metal. Medium body and carbonation. Sticky and sweet, and not very exciting.

En god dyb smag, ikke brunkager men fyldig karamel og mild humle. En god juleøl da den også kan drikkes på andre tidspunkter

rbesg grand tasting 2015, bottled. amber with not much of a head; some caramel in the aroma; hints of dried dog food, almost no bitterness; seemed like lagery to me so i was surprised to learn it was a traditional ale

Julemumme is a historic bid for a beer as it tasted in the late 1700s. It has roughly foam, which quickly drops to a sustained thinner layer. Light vinous aromas of clove, gentle malt, cherries and light hop. That this ale is added cherry liqueur tasted easily in the very first mouthful. Later takes a gentle sweet malt notes with slightly spicy touch of cloves and raisins. Vanilla glancing in the background while waiting anise only to find in the aroma. It is a tasty beer with full body and a body that has unexpectedly great tasting notes. The aftertaste is sweet, very long and tasty.
