COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bottom-fermented dark beer speciality, which is manufactured in traditional Bavarian brewing procedure.

Color of brown clear caramel and a decent top. First reaction for smell was marzipan, perhaps caramel and hops after. Also the taste is not far from the noseing impression, nice, slightly sweet bitter hops and mostly caramel what this is about. Nice light-sided beer.

Deep brown, tall frothy head, perfect lacing. Aroma of caramel, candy, roast. Light to medium body. Sweetish roasty taste, caramel, bread, a bit vinous. Well balanced. Light bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. A pleasant Dunkel.

First beer I tried in Berlin. A very tasty bock with a medium body, malty aroma of toasted grains and well balanced mildly sweet taste.

0.5 l bottle. 05.08.15. Deep amber / mahogany colour with a creamy light tan head, which lasted well and left some very nice lacing. Sweet, malty aroma with vanilla, sweet chocolate, a touch of roastiness and some caramel. Light / medium sweetness and only a hint of bitterness. Light to medium body; slightly thin but smooth texture and average carbonation. A quietly confident beer. I could happily spend an evening on this one. 8.

Red-tinged brown beer, beige head. Nose is malty, bready, some caramel in there, toasty-burned notes. Flavor is toasty malt, sweetness, some burned bitterness in the dry finish. Not complex by any means, but clean and pretty quaffable.

It is a typical black German beer. It is dry and there is a regular taste of caramel. The colour is normal black-brown transparent. It is a good beer before to drink one doppel bock or porter.
