COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bottom-fermented dark beer speciality, which is manufactured in traditional Bavarian brewing procedure.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Brown color. Aroma of caramel and toasted bread. Flavor of malt, toastiness, caramel, nutty hints and a slightly drier finish with herbal hints. Medium-bodied.

Bottle, 18/05/13, thanks M&D. Pours a reddish dark brown with a medium-sized, off-white head. Aroma is herbal, lightly grassy, some caramel and dark breadiness as well as dark malts. Taste is somewhat sweet, malts dominate. Breadiness, some herbalness. The finis is quite nice with the herbs mixing with the dark bread. Lightly soda-like aftertaste. Not much carbonation, too light a palate.

Color of brown clear caramel and a decent top. First reaction for smell was marzipan, perhaps caramel and hops after. Also the taste is not far from the noseing impression, nice, slightly sweet bitter hops and mostly caramel what this is about. Nice light-sided beer.

Bottle from München @ home. Cola brown clear beer with big beige head at first the going really small. Aroma has sweet malts and some roastiness. Flavour pretty much the same. Caramel malts, roasted maltyness, some weak metallicness and a bit bitterness in the end. No suprises here for good or bad.

Bottle (thx sprklfrc!). Dark reddish, clear. Roasty tones, sweetish brown malts. Body is light, well bitter. Some corny tones, dark bread. Some metallic tones, but quite nice. A good, well bittered dark bayerish dunkel.

Nice looking, but quite empty taste map. It should be much more bitter and acid. Should the hops be changed?
