Bottle from München @ home. Cola brown clear beer with big beige head at first the going really small. Aroma has sweet malts and some roastiness. Flavour pretty much the same. Caramel malts, roasted maltyness, some weak metallicness and a bit bitterness in the end. No suprises here for good or bad.

On tap at Graffiti, Berlin. Pours dark red brown with froth head. Good carbonation, sweet caramel background to a smooth beer. Good malt balance, good stuff.

Bottle (thx sprklfrc!). Dark reddish, clear. Roasty tones, sweetish brown malts. Body is light, well bitter. Some corny tones, dark bread. Some metallic tones, but quite nice. A good, well bittered dark bayerish dunkel.

On tap. Pours a dark ruby body, with a very light brown head that diminishes quickly, leaving a fair lace. Aroma dominted byroasted malts. Taste is better though, notes of caramel, medium sweet. No aftertaste. Oily texture, medium body, average carbonation. A good dunkel, nice example of the kind.

Bottle at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest, Romania, April 2013. Clear dark brown with a small white head. Malt, grainy, a little chocolate and mud aroma. malt and chocolate taste. Smooth, light-to-medium body, malty-muddy finish. gone wrong, but fine by me.

Clear brown appearance. Aroma is malty and a bit fruity. Smooth and well rounded mouthfeel. Flavour has lightly toasted malts giving a nice bittersweet finish.

Pours dark copper color with a medium head. Aroma of malts, earth, caramel, yeast and spice notes. Flavor of dark ripe fruits, earth, caramel malts and nuts.

Smooth and rich with a nice biting palate. Pours dark brown with thick beige head, lots of lacing as the head receds. Chocolately aroma with a hint of wood. Taste is burnt toast, choclate and coffee. This is an excellent dunkel. I could make this my regular....
