Suttree (4452) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Dark gold, clear, and no head. Smells like corn, grass and lightly skunked. Taste is pretty much the same - corn, grass, skunk. A little bit of a hop bite at the end.

odannyob (32) - Colorado, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Poured from a 11.2 ounce bottle (yah, where’d that .8 ounce go?) into a pilsner glass with a chipped foot, by the way. This has become a favorite bier of mein with a handful of sourdough pretzels and a dab of dark ground mustard. A true quencher o’ thirst, this.

Test vom 16.10.2006, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,12,12,11,10,12 - 11,75

Clear pale gold body with a failry small but stable foamy head. Aroma of typical pilsner, straw, some malt. Taste of bitterness and some metallic flavors. Mildly bitter palate. Nothing special, overall.

Carfi (293) - Rakovník, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 28, 2012
Lahev ( REAL, Bamberk) - Světlá barva, lehce nahořklé a dobře pitelné pivo, takovej klasickej německej pilsner.

damzz (179) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Pours clear gold with white head. Nose is pilsner malt. Palate is pilsner with a medium body. Malt upfront and then the hops bitterness hits and lingers in the aftertaste.

Konig Pilsner has a thick, soapy, white head, and a somewhat hazy yellow straw appearance, with lots of little white floating particles visible throughout the beer. A few streaming bubbles are seen, and a good amount of lacing is left on the glass. The aroma is faint, but one can detect some lightly-roasted malt. Taste is of sweet biscuit, lightly-roasted malt, sweetness, and it closes with an outstanding, grassy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Konig Pilsener finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mostly dry. This not a perfect beer, but it is not far from it. I insist that you try it! RJT
