3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A yellow-gold colored German pils with a nice retentive white frothy cap...laces well. Aroma is malt pronouced and sweetish with light pine like aromas. Great malt delivery to the palate...bready but light sweetness is balanced well with pine-citrus hops but it is a mellow hop presense...not sharp like the Czech pils....finish is mild and bisquity with a light citrus twang...I like this smooth tastey pils and at this price, leave the domestic crap and cheaper commie pilsners on the shelf. This one delivers a great German malty taste in mellow balence with pine-citrus hopping for a pleasant, fresh taste.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden/jejume colour with creamy medium head. A lit bit stinky at first, later with hoppy blend. Malty flavour with bland hoppy dry finish. One of the best (of the few) Ruhr-Area Pilseners.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can - malty, crisp, fresh tasting pilsener. Refreshing and clean.
(Sounds like I’m writing an ad here)
All in all, there’s no reason to load your fridge with the mors popular imports - Heinie, Becks - when this fine pilsener is now readily available.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Buttery deep gold colour. Modest carbonation. A run of the mill pilsner. Soft malt and grassy hop aroma. Fairly dry, with a touch of hop bitterness. Moderately crisp, but has a slight metallic tang on the finish. Serviceable, but nothing really stands out. 500ml bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Out of the can this golden pils was slightly metallic with some bitterness. Kind of tastes like other pils from German with little flair.
