daniel0017 (232), Ontario, Canada Oct 19, 2007 500mL can: Very grainy aroma with sharp hops. Carbonated, Yellow gold body and thick, frothy white head (very appealing). Flavor is sharp and very bitter with a very subdued malt character and tends to get dryer as the beer warms, leaving a bitter aftertaste behind for many minutes to come. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and refreshing. Where was this stuff when I was at the festhallen this Oktoberfest? Must’ve missed it...
mkel07 (66), Brisbane, Australia Jan 8, 2009 Bottle. Poured a sparkling yellow with a medium body and thin white head which quickly disappears. Nice bitterness and long lasting on the palette. danielyabu (142), Curitiba, Brazil Dec 24, 2008 essa Classic German Pilsener é exatamente o que poderia se esperar do estilo. Aroma is grain/husky, saaz hops. Taste is grain/husky-caramel, saaz hops with metallic/herbal that seems a bit off. Sharpness of a Czech. Dry finish. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out. Rciesla (1580), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Dec 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours a straw yellow body with a white head. Dry dull german pils, bready, light floral hoppiness. Yves (519), Beerse, Belgium Dec 14, 2008 Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and medium carbonation. Herby aroma. Full little sparkling palate. Finish is bitter, like pomelo.
