Königsegger Spezial pours a bright yellowish color with a slight orange tint. Has a medium sized white head. Smells of malts with some apricots mixed in there. Taste is of malts, hops, and caramel. A little spicy.

Das Königsegger "WalderBräu Spezial" schäumt gut auf und duftet blumig-malzig. Im Geschmack sehr süß geraten mit Anklängen von Honig. Wird im Verlauf minimal würzig und ist etwas schwachbrüstig herb im Abgang. Insgesamt ein unaufgeregtes, etwas langweiliges Spezial, dass mir insgesamt zu süß ist.

Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay, toasted, sweet, light grain, plastic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110127]

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Minimal-hazy, pale golden colour with a dense foamy white medium head. Sweet malty, slightly papery nose with herbal hops and a touch of citrus and honey. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Pale malty taste with light notes of honey and herbal notes; medium-dry, soft malty, slightly bitter finish with very shy herbal hops. Quite boring, but still drinkable.
