Light yellow colour, with big foamy head. You smell a bitter. This bitter is barely represented in the beer itselft, that tastes like water.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, slightly strawy, pale malty aroma, flat bitter hoppy overtones. Taste is grainy, minimally strawy, subtle sweetness, cautious bitter hoppy overtones; light and slightly watery.

Ein Pils wie jedes andere auch. Beginnt leicht malzig und suess, endet mit einer ueblen Bitternote. nett zum Essen und einer heissen Nacht, doch ansonsten ist es wie ein altes und saures Brot. Geht so.

Clear light golden colour with low head and medium body. Simple nose of of hops. Taste of bitter ripe hops, barley, dust, basement, cellar and leaves. Easy to drink, might be refreshing, but just too dull and boring.

On 14th Jan 2012 I decided to have a lager/pilsner/helles/light beer evening: a 500ml bottle of this beer was the second to be opened. Poured into three Pilsner glasses; each one filled with a lively golden bodied beer that showed a full head of white foaming bubbles. The beer was a bright golden yellow in colour, a good looking brew. The nose was your typical Pilsner: so weak hints of hops, grassy in places and almost a malt ester aroma as the beer warmed in the glasses. The taste was again the regular Pilsner sharp; hop based tangy beer you’d expect. This one is slightly sweeter than most and doesn’t have such a cutting bite as some either. Once the beer had calmed down a little it seemed to mellow somewhat and from the lively beginning it turned into a softer, easier to drink beer: not bad at all.
