Bottle conditioned.
La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Fruity, mostly banana, slight apple, some spice at the back, full body, caramel and toffees, overall a nice balance and easy to drink for the alcohol content.

Orange color. High carbonation. Aromas of caramel and bubblegum. Higher sweetness, but finishes dry. Some light, tart citrusy notes. Quite spicy from the phenols. Very tasty tripel, but most are.

Pours hazy golden color with medium white head, creamy and long lasting. No lacing. Nice smell of malts and yeast, subtle and not imposing. Medium body with soft and prickly carbonation. Watery texture that turns into oily within a second. Tastes quite sweet with slight bitterness and alcohol burn on the tongue. Aroma of malts, yeast, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, nuts, a bit peppery and spicy. Beautifully balanced. Overall, really nice tripel. Delicious.

Pours a thick beige head with nice citrus and yellow melon aromas. Hazy gold colored body. Long and aromatic mouth of maracuja and fine hops. Easy drinking and excellent tripel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Hazy golden colour, large and persistent frothy white head. Fine fruity and decent bubble gum aromas, some green apples, cloves, raisins, banana. Taste is sweet with some hooney, candy, tutti frutti and green apple. Well rounded sweet and fruity taste with a creamy mouthfeel. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, sweet and fruity finish. A solid tripel, very good.

Melhor cerveja que ja tomei na vida. Frutada, alto teor de alcool e deixa um gosto delicioso na boca. Cerveja linda no copo.

0.33l bottle. This one pours a nice slightly clouded near glowing golden colored body with a bright white lingering and really lacing head. Looks nice, and it smells just like it should as well. The traditional white sugar trippel aroma is just where it should be, I get some slightly acidic green apple zest, mild fresh baked bread, soft yeast and some green grapes. Yeah, not bad at all. Tastes nice also. A bit of a generic tripel in the taste on this. It’s near lively on the bubbles and it feels good and creamy-growing in the mouth. Belgian yeast, white sugars, some glazed white fruits with hints of green apples and a nice little alco burn towards the finish. Sweetish tail and something that reminds me a bit of a ripe banana sweetness. A nice classic Belgian tripel. 13.06.2014
