La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Very nice, solid, big head. Orange colour, not fully opaque, a little bit cloudy. Aroma mostly malty, bananas, cloves also noticeable. Despite high ABV, alcohol is hidden. Sweet at first touch with dry, spicy finish. Bitterness is very low. Light body, high carbonation. Good beer

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy orange with a big, lasting white head. The aroma contains malts, hops, yeast, caramel, spices, citrus and orange. It tastes medium bitter and sweet, with a long spicy and alcoholic finish. Oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice, though I prefer the Quadrupel.

Carbonatación media tirando a alta.

bottle: pours a hazy golden yellow with white thick head that doesn´t stay long....aroma is spicy (the esters I guess) and malty towards bready maybe even toasty(light toast), some unripe banana aroma as well........medium to light body, a little creamy or oily...taste is malty,a little dried fruit, caramel definitely but the fizzy, prickly carbonation kind of dominates......slight bitterness that gives way to the lingering warmth of alcohol

Oranssinrusehtava, samea olut todella paksulla ja kermaisella vaahdolla. Tuoksu aika mieto, hedelmäinen ja makeahkon maltainen.Maku maltaisen viljainen sekä hieman hedelmäinen. Loppupuoleltaan aavistuksen mausteinen.

Pours hazy gold with anoff white head. Malt, fruits and fig aroma. Taste is malt carmel and fruits. The high carbination takes away from the flavours and kinda spoils the beer for me.
