Aroma is spicy(clove) wheat, yeast and banana? Opaque yellow, small short lived white head, pretty lace. Taste is soft wheat, lemon, spice is subdued. Light bodied, balanced, dry and refreshing. Good, somehow I expected a lot more/

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy blond body with good carbonation and a thin white foamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with citrusy hints. Taste is well balanced but it lacks complexity. It ends with a decent yeasty/citrusy finish. Average Witte.

IBottled. thought this was an excellent witte. Murky pour with a smallish head at best, lots of lemon obviously and acidity. Pretty good I thought.

Bottle (33 cl) at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy golden, medium white head. Fruity, bisquity, slightly spicy, light notes of oranges and clove. Ok balance. Feels like a mixture between a belgian blond and a wit.

Bottle, february 08. Slightly hazy shinny golden color with an effervescent carbonatation and a beige, bubbly white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma with some phenollic notes. Pleasant. Some pears notes too. Fruity, yeasty, spicy flavor. A cross between a golden ale and a phenollic heffe. Nice. Medium to light mouthfeel. Mild refreshing and tasty. Overall, a tasty, refrreshing spicy wit.

33cl bottle from a retailer in Belgium. Pours a hazy yellow head with foam that disappears fast. Tastes like a regular lager (pilsner). All in all, a decent witbier but nothing special.

Draught (Arendsnest, Amsterdam)
Pale yellow, thin head. Wheaty but also hoppy aroma. Soft mellow unmalted grain base. One of those ’blah’ wits, alas; I expected better from Trappe.
