Flaske. Kæmpe skum på en klassisk witte. Desværre er den ikke meget bevendt klassiske dyder men i mindre mål, derfor meget skuffende.

Bottle at Chaucer’s pub in London, ON- Pours the typical cloudy yellow with a good froth of white foam. Nice lacing with good retention. The aroma set me aback, as it surprisingly full of fresh aromatic hops and other leafy greens. Also present are good doses of pine and yeasty nuances with a follow up of orange peel and vanilla, maybe a touch of spice. The flavour profile is quite hoppy and citric, lots of bitterness, bubblegum, lots of fruit, very tasty. FInish is fruity citric bitterness, with lots of candy. Unexpected and pleasant!

Pale hazy yellow with a big white head. Wheat, clove, orange and apricot in a somewhat German aroma. Sweet and spicy flavour with fruity notes of a blonde or triple. Quite interesting and untraditional overall. Tasty enough, but give me a Hoegaarden instead please.

Bottle 33 cl. Pale, lightly cloudy and with a big nice white foam. Initial sweet and with a bitter, lightly sour finish. Aroma of citrus, wheat and orange. Light body and thin feel.

[856-20071127] Tap @ Beer Bistro (Toronto, ON). Sweet banana wheat yeast aroma. Hazy, pale yellow white body with a big long-creamy white head. Sweet banana wheat continues in the flavour with a hint of lemon finish. Light body has nice finish. Very nicely balanced, repeatable and in excellent condition.
