3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly murky colour. Very fizzy when opened. Smells like saison and strong. Smells of alcohol, but not so much in taste. Plane sour taste bit simple and watery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Belíssima opaca. Belo creme. Aroma doce. Cítrica e pão. Mais seca doce densa e ácida. Retrogosto travado. Com limão o aroma fica interessante. Mas o sabor fica muito ácida.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
BB 06.2014, 330ml bottle. Pours pale straw with big white head. The head stays. Aroma of tartness, spices, a little bit perfumy, a little bit fruity. Taste: citrus, slight sweetness, herbs, some farmhouse tastes, rather watery. Finish is slight sour. Overall: very light and watery taste, wouldn’t guess that it’s 5,5% actually. Would be ok with hot weather, but otherwise not really my kind of beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Beers of Europe website (£1.89):
Light spice then some citrus notes, there is a touch of lemon and a hint of coriander as well. I could detect some cloves, wheat & some refreshing fruits that seem almost tropical but these are faint.
Slightly cloudy yellow to golden with a large, foamy white head that looks quite thick and holds well. Plenty of visible evidence of carbonation and some lacing left on the sides of the glass too.
Citrus with a mainly lemon zest taste to begin, there is some banana and a little clove too. A definite witbier taste with some light coriander and hints of spice and orange with a mix of various fruits towards the end.
Well carbonated with a citrus tang that is quite refreshing on top of a light body. The high carbonation takes a little away from the smoothness but the beer is an easy one to drink.
Not a bad witbier at all and very close to what I was expecting before opening the bottle. The taste features all the regulars for the style and the the balance is a nice one with no one flavour dominating proceedings.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow body, with a medium forthy head that diminishes quickly, leaving almost no lace. Nice yeasty aroma, with notes of coriander, but the beer is pretty watery, only catching some yeast. Watery texture, thin body, average carbonation. Wits are not my style really.
