Flavour, well I admit that La Trappe has a very, special place in my heart, I simply like their beers!! This one is Ok, but not among the best, though. It has sweetness, is refreshing and light with notes of coriander and citrus. It’s not very wheaty, but easy to drink. kopestes (164), Braine l’Alleud, Belgium

Very light aroma and I couldn’t define anything. Maybe some lemon. Taste is refreshing, lemony with some spice. GonZoBeeR (2161), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2006 Found a 330ml bottle of this, serving it slightly chilled. Aroma reminds me of lemon rind, a bit grassy too with a hint of banana and spice. Looks nice enough with a reasonably clean pale straw body and fluffy white head. Flavour is quite light and delicate, to say the least. Can taste some banana, and clove like spicyness, with some sour citrus towards the finish. Mouthfeel is quite lively. Seems refreshing, maybe not as flavoursome as i’d hoped. Dredd (491), Ormond, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Quite a pleasant and acceptable wheat beer. The aroma is a bit weak and the head retention a bit poor for this style, but the flavours of banana, citrus and cloves. Perhaps not as good as the legendary Hoegaarden, but still good for this style. DanBerg (59), Alkmaar, Netherlands
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 23, 2006 Bottle at home. I don’t understand all of those average ratings. I think it’s a very nice and special beer. A bit sour, full body. Amazing taste in the mouth, nice flavor. I’m convinced, will drink this a lot more in the future! flemmingwillum (235), København S, Denmark
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 22, 2006 Lousy witbier. The aroma is faint sour with only a little wheat. The flavor is also faint sour with a little wheat, but now with yeast, too. The palate is lousy, feels like foumy air in the mouth, and the beer is very watery. The worst beer brewed with wheat I have ever had. Seems like all of you others have had better experience with this beer, maybe something was wrong with my specimen...
