| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Slightly cloudy with lots of medium sized bubbles supporting the creamy white head. Nice wheaty aroma, with some spicy clove especially evident on tasting, with a bit of crispy lemon too. There are also some pleasant yeasty notes. Flavour is quite smooth, with a nice bitterness that is consistent through to the aftertaste. Quite creamy mouthfeel, with the body being quite full for the style. A little on the gassy side, having me burping a bit too much. A pleasant beer, especially in warmer weather, but nothing warranting a return. gnoff (3568), Göteborg, Sweden

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Bottle: Wibier is a style I greaty wish to explore deeply. Subtle yet complex, light yet richly pleasing - at least when done well. Sadly, my experience of them so far has been largely dissapointing with only Hoegaarden providing a solid view of the possibilities. This one was another to add to the list of let downs. Slightly hazy light gold with the obligatory bright white head. My suspicions were immediately aroused by the aroma - slightly fishy (sardines) cloves and banana over a weak wheat base. In the mouth this translates to a slight clove spice, warming alcohol presence, and a slightly thin, powdery sweetness. Compounding this was a cola-like large bubbled carbonation that detracted from any flavour possibilities and resulted in an annoyingly prickly mouthfeel. In reality there wasn’t much to say for this. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

Big, strong lemon flavour without too much spice which is how I like it. Doesn’t have much of a finish and is a bit watery bit it tastes great. Stefano (1328), Esbjerg, Denmark
