Tall creamy white head that sticks to the glass. Cloves, citrus, noteably lemon, and wheat yeast notes. Aroma is more like a Bavarian weissbier than a witbier. Banana, coriander and crisp wheaty and yeasty flavours. Delicious. larsga (2959), Oslo, Norway

Spicy lemon and banana hit the nose straight away, though gently. Yeasty flavour with a sour kick and a bitter finish. Heavy citrus, banana, nut and spice make it a party. No longer a true trappist, but the quality is preserved. A regular in my fridge and a favourite indeed. Much enjoyed from draught while in The Dam. Krasulak (63), Wapadrand, Pretoria, South Africa
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2006 Bottled. Pours hazy greenish yellow with moderate white lasting head. Aroma of yeast, malt and citrus. Flavour of wheat malt, lemon, slight banana and spice (coriander). Short sour spicy finish. Not a full belgian witbier like the Hoegaarden Wit but tasty and refreshing. maeib (4723), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Bottled. A very hazy yellowy green coloured wit with a short-lived white head. The aroma has lemon and cream and spices. The taste is lemony, wheaty and yeasty with a little coriander. Not the fullest wit but still pleasantly tasty. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Bottle. Quite a sweet and slightly overly yeasty witbier. Slight soapy coriander spicyness and lemony acidity. Too much sweetness. And also showed a touch of alcohol, which witbiers don’t normally show. SHIG (2032), Aviano, Italy
