COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Not bad. Banana and bread dough on the nose, pours pale, frothy and attractive. Fairly unobtrusive as drunk, a bit sweet, a bit of funkiness from the yeast. Wouldn’t say no to another, unless better ales were available.

Pours a bit white/orange with a nice white head. Has some orange in it’s flavor, slight vanilla. Overall a very decent white beer with a good palate.

Bottle 33cl, bought in Bodegraven, Holland.

Slightly hazy yellow color, a small white head, aroma of coriander and orange peel, light body, small carbonation, lightly sweet, oranges and citruses on palate, also hints of summer field of wheat, short aftertaste but pleasant, B@visit.

Draft at Bangers...piss straw with a decent white head... Sweet generic yeast, a bit of skunky finish, blah... The taste is super boring, sugar yeast water, crushable but why bother? Pass

Test vom 24.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

330 ml bottle. BBE 10/2012.
Pours a pale yellow colour with a thick, foamy head. Weak aroma of wheat, lemon and mandarin orange. Flavour of strong lemon juice, wheat, mandarin orange and cardboard. Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel. Dry, wheaty, lemony finish. Boring Hoegaarden copy.
