COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

An excellent white beer that stands equal to the great Hoegaarden. Slightly different, but nice.

Bottle kindly shared by abemorsten. Pours unclear straw coloured with a small white head. Aroma of yeast and wheat. Taste is spicy, citrus, like a belgian blonde. Medium carbonated.Ends dry.

Draught. A bit hazy grape fruit colour, big white head. Aroma of grape fruit and citrus. Cinnamon, bread, orange in the taste. Great finish! A wonderful witbier, probably the best I’ve ever had.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2011 Bottle 33 cl. Color is light yellow (hazy) with a fixed white head. Aroma: some sweetness and sourishness of yellow citrus fruit, malty. Flavor is refreshing, and has the same characteristics as the aroma. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Great on a sunny terrace!
