The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

This bottle did not pour any head at all. Little carbonation. There was no cloudiness at all. Aroma was terrible, the taste was only a little bit like what a Belgian White should taste like. It was drinkable, but that’s about it. Was something wrong with this bottle?

On tap A bit light for a witte, but clean and tasty. Basically reminiscient of Hoegaarden minus the amount of spices.

very clean, lack of spice. esters finally emerge as the brew warms to lend some redeeming value. quite bland otherwise.

Bottle. Tried as La Trappe witte.Cloudy with a big head. Some traces of citrus. Not my favourite style but found this quite pleasant and easy to drink.

On tap at The Raleigh Times. Poured a creamy yellow haze with a firm but sturdy head. Mildly sweet taste with hintws of honey, wheat bread, lemon zest. Soothing mouthfeel and finish.

Unlearstraw colour, sturdy fine head. Rich aroma. Citrusy, but also sweet. A little sour and a even less sweet on the tongue - perfect. Thin body, fizzy fresh. Wife even says better than Hoegaarden and Hoegaarden Speciale. Purchased at Barley Wine.

Pours a very light and hazy lemon with very thick white head. Aroma is very light. Grass and wheat notes in aroma. Flavor is very light and crisp accordingly with the style. Nutty undertones. Lemon present. light and refreshing. Great for warm weather and still has full flavor.

Smells hoppy and beery. Pours a clear yellow with thickish white head. Taste is foamy, cloudy light banana flavor. Faint hint of spice. Very watery, light body.
