3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to Keith for the bottle! Poured slightly hazy straw golden with a tall, fizzy cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft toasted bananas, tangy wheat, and lemon zest.. bready sweetness supported, and gave it a soft overall impression despite the tangy character. The flavor found a pinch of honey along with the bready notes at the core, with tart lemon, wheat, and earthy character around.. finished sour with a bit of tacky malt. Light-medium bodied with rolling carbonation on the palate.. balance wasn’t quite there, although it was refreshing in the end.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear yellow beer with a small head. Served in a "regular" trappist-glass, so that might be the reason for the bad score on appearance. It’s pretty soury, but it fades very rapidly.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of lemon, wheat, spices, and yeast. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of yeast, wheat, slight pepper, and slight Robitussin. Light to medium body. Lightly tingly, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, wheat, and spice finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very clear white beer, not that much happening, think it’s a little too watery. Still drinkable in many ways

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
This bottle did not pour any head at all. Little carbonation. There was no cloudiness at all. Aroma was terrible, the taste was only a little bit like what a Belgian White should taste like. It was drinkable, but that’s about it. Was something wrong with this bottle?

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit light for a witte, but clean and tasty. Basically reminiscient of Hoegaarden minus the amount of spices.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
very clean, lack of spice. esters finally emerge as the brew warms to lend some redeeming value. quite bland otherwise.
