Pours cloudy copper golden with a decent head. Wheat aroma, not very strong. Taste of citrus and spices. Slight on the sour side. Small noticable bitterness lingering in the finish along with the sourness. Light bodied and slight watery. High carbonation.

Aroma is a shocking negative (frat-house Bud hops) but the beer itself is quite good, zesty yeast+maltiness+spices

Jaune trouble, effervescence moyenne-forte, col blanc abondant et persistant. De bons malts bien clairs, du suret, du citronné, de la coriandre, un peu d’amertume et un peu de corps. Bref, une bonne Blanche bien goutue.

Usually I would pick the German weizen over Dutch/Belgian style witbier. But this one shows that there are quality witbeeren available. Thumbs up!

Glass, pours hazy gold with nice white head. Notes of lemonade, peppermint, coriander, Belgian spice and malt. Very quaffable. Easy going wit from La trappe.

Continuing the La Trappe tasting. Really nice witbier. Seriously, this could go head-to-head with the classics (Hoegaarden & Blanche de Bruxelles). Girlfriend really liked it too.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 0,75L. Hazy dark yellow or maybe light brown colour, light visible carbonation and tiny white head. Spicy aroma of white wine and lemon, a touch of banana and that’s it. Flat mouthfeel with lemon note. Acetic flavor at the start goes moderate acetic to moderate bitter in the aftertaste.Watery beer with light to medium body, good for hot summer days. I think. I expected more...

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Straw yellow beer with a big fluffy white head. The carbonation keeps making new head from the bottom of the glass for minutes. The aroma has Belgian yeast, pear, citrus and peppery spiciness. Flavor is mostly just watery, but there’s some fruitiness, sweetness, wheat beer yeastiness and spicines. The body is thin and very carbonated. Not much of bitterness or finish. Could be refreshing on a hot day, but appeared too watery to me.

hmm.. opened this one for thirst quenching.. bit too good to use it only for this purpose, thou bit too bad to enjoy sipping. Actually interesting brew. Bit too spicy maybe. Wheat, banana, orange, yeast. Bit watery. Overall.. drinkable brew. nothing fancy

Bottle. Yellow apperance with a medium head lasting for a while. Aroma is fresh and the odour from the hops is most obvious. Taste is good, but nothing interesting. It is neither metallic nor too sweet or bitter. Aftertaste is almost abscent, though.
