The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Pours cloudy copper golden with a decent head. Wheat aroma, not very strong. Taste of citrus and spices. Slight on the sour side. Small noticable bitterness lingering in the finish along with the sourness. Light bodied and slight watery. High carbonation.

Pours from bottle light gold with a large, thick white head. Typical Belgian witte, yet more enjoyable than most. Citrus, lemony taste with carbonation that is lighter than other wittes. Finishes smoother than other wittes as well.

Served in a Trappist glass from a 330ml bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a big white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus fruits and clover with intensive grain notes. Taste is citrus and grain with slightly spicy notes. Smooth medium body with medium carbonation, extremely easy to drink. I am personally not a great fan of witbeers but this one is one of a very few I find not just drinkable but extremely enjoyable too.

This pours a yellowish color with a frothy white head. The aroma has a nice yeasty, banana, clove tone. The taste is a light refreshing witte that has a nice taste of banana and spices but isn’t too overpowering. Drinks really nicely especially during the summer months. Worth a try, don’t be mislead by the rating.

Pineapple and banana on the nose. Taste is very clean, minerally with a slight furryness in the mouthfeel

Niestety nigdy nie byłem zwolennikiem takich piw. Mimo mojej wielkiej miłości do braci zakonnych z Berkel-Enschot i uwielbienia dla ich piw ocena tego jednego nie będzie zbyt wysoka. Unfortunately, I was never a supporter of such beers. Despite my great love for the brothers of Berkel-Enschot and praise for their beers assessment of this one will not be too high.

Bière fraiche, citronnée (légèrement); fruitée. Peu d’amertume. On reconnaît le style "trappiste", comme si celui-ci était estompé. Finale plutôt courte. Bonne bière.

33cl @ bottle. Blanche trappista, non fra le migliori per questo stile ma comunque molto beverina e rinfrescante.

Sample at WOBFest 2016. I was absolutely enamored with this beer. Very light and refreshing. Great spices and thin body make this a perfect beer while you beat the heat on your front porch.

Hazy lemon gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Low grain, lemon citrus and faint corriander spiciness. Citrus and spice noticable in mouth but carbonation is aggressive and intrusive. Dry wheaty graininess in the finish
