COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Colore giallo paglierino, velata, schiuma persistente bianca e fine, carbonazione alta. Aroma di speziato, lievito, frutta gialla, arancia. In bocca scorre via veloce, senza troppo corpo e con una gasatura un pò eccessiva, che ben pulisce il palato ma che ci toglio un pò di sapori

I liked this wit. Really crisp and refreshing. Pours a light straw yellow with a layer of pure white head. Aroma is a bit spicy with a grassy and citrus hop. Nice and refreshing

Bottle from vinmonopolet, Dombaas, Norway. Pours light golden with a thin white head that lasts out the session. Slightly hazy with minimal carbonation. On the nose there is grass, wheat and spices. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour is malty, with some spicy notes. Mildly dry finish. Decent, easy to drink, would be a great session beer.

Hazy lemon yellow. Large white head. Intense aromas of lemon curd, pie and sesame. Fresh and fizzy. Medium to full body. Long finish with hints of banana sweets. Best witbier so far.

33cl bottle@home in tall glass@approx 7 degrees C. Pours unclear light yellow with massive white head with great retention. Fruity, citrussy aroma with touches of yeast and bread. Semi-sweet taste not unlike pilsener but with a clear wit taste. Pleasant though a bit watery palate with a clear malty, yeasty, bitter aftertaste which is distinctive in a positive way. Will try again on a hot summers day....may that be soon!

Didn’t take proper tasting notes. Citrus, floral, dry. Very nice witbier really.

On tap at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam on 20th March 2015. Crisp light gold with thin off-white head. Fine lemon citrus in aroma, liquid and finish. A zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, pale yellow-green with a high, pillowy, white head. Nose is lime, fresh bread, coriander, and a slight metallic aroma. A little citrusy sweetness up front, then a bready mild note in the middle. More citrus on the close. Almost no bitterness. Very, very mild. A little sourness on the finish. Really understated -- almost too understated. There are better witbier options.

Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Dosen’t very smell much but yeast and a bit if wheat. Taste is sweet and fruity, some bitter orange and apricots. Palate is oily and thick. Overall a decent wit, though not very tasteful, but fresh and nice.
