COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a large white head. Wheaty and yeast spiced aroma. Flavour semi dry wheat with a slight spice note towards the finish. There is a slight orange fruity note breaking a very wheaty flavour. So wheat dominant that it reminds me more of a German hefe-weizen than a Belgian wit bier. By far not the best within the style.

The aroma is spicy dominated by lemon. The color is an unclear light yellow and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, lemon, and corriander. The body is somewhat watery.

(Bottle 30 cl) Pale yellow, hazy with a very white and creamy head. Dry and somewhat "chemical" flavour with the typical notes of coriander and orange peel. Fresh all right but a bit inharmonoius in the finish. 271004

Hazy light golden colour, with big white lasting head. Wheaty aroma with hints of citrus. Has a little spicey wheat taste and a little biter aftertaste. This is not a bad beer.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is light, with some spices and banana. Quite light mouthfeel, with some sweetness, some banana. The end turns to be a bit dry and fruity. Useless.

2003-12-24, bottle, 5.5 % ABV, 4-2-4-2-7=19
Light blond color. Light aroma, malt, lemon, coriander. Light mouthfeel, dry but quite smooth, some malt, a lot of spices (cloves). Short final.

Light haze on this pale gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and crisp. Light bittersweet lemon. Trace of banana ester. Dry seltzer minerals in the semi dry finish. Light and pleasant if a tad dry.
