Editor’s note: Sold in USA as Konrad Eso Märzen.
Řezané pivo Konrad ESO se vyznačuje dokonalou harmonií chutí, kterou mu dává správně vyvážený poměr světlého a tmavého piva. Na jazyku se potkává chmelová hořkost s karamelovou sladkostí. 4,7 % obj.alk

S- yeasty, light wheat, fairly faint T- lightly yeasty, caramel, lightly floral M- medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- even though this wasn’t too complex, I enjoyed it a lot. Pour is a clear but dark brown with a large white head. Aroma is a nice sweat caramel malt. Flavor is a dry but thin dark bready malt. Finish is plenty of the malt left on the tongue but overall a bit watery. This beer has all the hallmarks of a good marzen. Lot’s of dark bready malt and a low bitterness but just a bit too watery and bland. Having this fresh in the Czech Rep would improve the score.
