3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle. Golden colour, large and persistent creamy head. Wonderful aroma of malt and hops. Full-bodied bitter sweet, quite hoppy with a full malty body. A very good 12°.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized frothy head, that slowly diminishes, distinctive sweet pale-malty, a bit perfumed nose with a potent dash of czech hops; solid malty base moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour; moderate sweet-malty and solid bitter-hoppy finish. An underrated, very good Bohemian Pilsener.....
České pivo čislo 250 ! Quack-Duckovi a českému pivu zdar...........

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml, obtained from Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Light gold with carbonated white head. Sweetish caramel malts to the fore throughout the beer, a little fuller than most lagers, the carbonation settles down to allow a slight Czech hoppiness to come through. Overall reasonable in my opinion.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Dull malty aroma - very bready. Malty flavour. No zip here. Overall, rather lifeless. Past its prime, I think. Bottled at Twickenham Beer Festival.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at Twickenham BF 2004. Not very good at all, similar to the Verhaeghe beer sampled in the same session, this was rubbishy, brown sugarish and with an unpure taste. Crappy.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Felt a bit flat and stale and void of too much flavour. Lightly appley and with a touch of grainy malt, just a bit flat, stale and bland.
