From Pivni Galerie, thanks Nikola for sharing! Poured a brownish bronze body with a small off white head. Full, remarkably pleasant malty aroma, notes of raisins. The taste remains at a high level, full maltiness again, notes of raisins, the sweetness countered with a mild roastiness at the start. Mildly fruity, with a medium bitterness in the finish. This is quite good stuff!

Barva tmavá, pěna držící, vůně karamelově sladově kávová. Chuť: plné tělo, střední říz, výrazný hořký kávový nástup a příjemný chmelový dozvuk. Velice pitelné...

Bottle from special brewery pack, as Reichenberg Svatopavelské 16°. Very dark chestnut brown color with thick persistent light beige head. Strong malty aroma. Dark malt, caramel, plums, dark chocolate in taste. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Light hoppy bitterness in finish. Not sweet as German Dunkler Bocks, very enjoyable beer. Very funny is, that on label is written (english translation)Special pale (svetly) lager, well...

On tap @ Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Dark ruby-hued clear brown body, medium off-white head. Nose is caramel, diacetyl, grains, raisins and hints of nuts. Taste is caramel, raisins, dark malts, bread, butterscotch and hints of chocolate and nuts. Medium body and carrbonation. Very nice dark lager, or bock in the Czech tradition, I should probably say.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Pours clear dark brown with a small creamy tanned head. Aroma of toffee and nutty malts. Taste is light sweet, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, also some molasse in the lingering finish. Very good, not too sweet, and hides the alcohol well.
