Small glass, draught at Crowbar & Bryggeri. One big patch at the surface. Body colour is cloudy, amber-red, I would say. Dotted spots to the glass. Inviting aromas of red oranges, half-dry. Sappy taste of passion fruits, red orange and subdued malty sweetness. Fruit hoppy finish. Very smooth and fresh on the swallow. Nice and moreish (Oslo 18.08.2014).

On tap at Crowbar, august 23rd 2014. Amber body with a short white head. Malty aroma with pine and grass, taste of caramel, grass, a weak hop fruitiness, strong bitterness in finish along with hints of cabbage. Not my kind of an ipa, though I suspect the keg is a lot older than what you’d expect an ipa to be at a place like Crowbar and the beer has faded.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Rich aroma, very inviting. Flowers, herbs, well balanced malt/hops, but the hops are perhaps a bit tired. A long journey.

13.08.2014, tap @ Crowbar:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, caramel malts, pine needles, toffee, grass, leafs, hops, sap, bark, rubber. Taste is dry grassy, pine needles, bark, rubber, old leafs, harsh hops, caramel malts, grass, soap. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap at Archive Beer Boutique June 2014. One of the more flavoursome beers from Kooinda. Big dose of hops kills off most other aromas and flavours.

On tap at Local Taphouse, Darlinghurst. Quite a well rounded IPA without being too astonishing. Pine and some biscuity malt were quite apparent.

imaragingbull (570) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 20, 2012
Tap @ tipplers tap. Pours cloudy amber brown with good lace and light off white head. Aromas of citrus pine and light nutty malt sweetness. Decent bitterness lingering right through the medium body finishing a touch vegetal but overall a nice hop bitterness.

Davros (1924) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 29, 2012
Pours copper with a fading head. Nose shows hefty fruity hops, including lychee, passion-fruit and peach along with big nutty malt characters. Pretty aggressive flavours. A fair bit of nutty and toasty malt, but also big green hoppy notes and an aggressive piny bitter finish. A bit too charp, and there’s a soapy character too. Too much carb.
