COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kooinda Boutique Brewery currently produces 400 litre batches of Hand Crafted Pale Ale using only the freshest available Hops, Barley & Yeast. The Ale is brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, which states that only malt, water, yeast and hops can be used in brewing. Our beer is non-filtered and contains no artificial preservatives. Kooinda Pale Ale 4.7%, is a full bodied brew with a copper hue and hints of citrus in its aroma. The ale combines 3 specialty malts and finishes with a touch of bitterness on the palate. Kooinda hope to produce a Porter and Fruit beer in the near future.

Not very hoppy for a ’boutique’ pale ale. Slight tropical fruit/galaxy hop profile that is quickly diminished by a strong/dirty bitterness. I don’t know why they would bother releasing this to the public. Tastes like a home brewed pale ale that still needs work. Avoid

Nice fruity aroma. Cloudy amber colour with excellent head. Very bitter flavour with a smooth finish. Heavy body with low to medium carbonation.

Not that pale with minimal head retention, citrus nose and biscuit malty palate. Not as "hoppy" as my local beer seller guy led me to believe, but a beer I would drink again

It pours a dark very cloudy brown orange, not much head or carbonation, very strong hops flavour without too much bitterness, combined with the low carbonation makes it a very smooth drink.

Certainly fits the bill for an American Pale Ale. Light floral aroma. Looks orange and that taste comes through early. Bit malty. Definitely resin in finish that lingers. Nice Sunday Summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not bad aroma. Bitter with caramel. Afraid I’m driving it from the bottle. Drinkable. Low carbonation.

Pours a cloudy brown with a white head. moderate carbonation with a strong malty flavour balanced well with consistent bitterness. Hints of citrus, overpowered slightly by the caramel and toffee flavours. A nice easy pale ale

Fresh and spritsy. A nice strongly flavoured hoppy pale ale. Very refreshing and nicely done.

Looking for a new sessionable summer beer, fits the bill as a hoppy ale that keeps it down to 4.7%. Haven't had this is about 9 months. Pours deep amber caramel colour with an off-white head that subsides, leaving an impressive amount of lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, not too hoppy, but pleasant. Again, not needing a huge smell for my session beer. Very nicely balanced taste. Pleasant bitterness, quite dry. Caramel, citrus, malts are there. *Perhaps* a minor level of diacetyl, but not off-putting. The bitterness carries the dry mouth well. Very refreshing in hot weather. All in all, way up there for an Australian sunshine beer!! Leaps and bounds ahead of little creatures - as good as many of your US session beers. Manageable alcohol level and a beautiful combination of pine fruits, subtle hop bitterness and caramel to enjoy on a hot day. More balanced than Mornington IPA, and pleasantly sessionable unlike the (otherwise fantastic) hop hog. You'll certainly notice it going down. Good price and even available at Dan Murphy's now. You could nurse 2 or 3 in the time you'd drink 5 or 6 Carlton's. Much better than their disappointing Valhalla Golden Ale. The Witbier, Milk Porter and Black IPA are all fantastic too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Murky golden color, white head. Sweet, dry, malty, grainy taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Grainy bitter aftertaste. Fruity, malty scent.
