Straw yellow in color... Aroma is lightly malty... Flavor is slightly citrusy, hints of strawberry... Not bad, a lot better and more drinkable than the ratings would indicate...

Can. Pale yellow body with a small white head. Skunky? Funky grassy hop aroma. Light grassy bitterness, very light palate. Meh. Bland and light, not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Dusty’s, Creekside. Clear light brown, almost no head. Big malts up front with very fizzy and artificial finish. Reminds me of an African beer, which isn’t good...

Lager yellow, no head. Light caramel malty nose, light malt taste with a trace of hop. Fizzy and easy to drink, inoffensive. Lagerboy friendly. Green is good, blue is better!

Pale yellow, slightly hazy. Some fruit and pale malts on the nose and in flavor. Nothing interesting, an ok beer.

Bottled in Kimberley, BC. Clear pale yellow, no head. Light citrus aroma. Dryish and clean - almost crisp. Sligh dusty citrus flavour, fairly light body. Low bitterness. The palest amber ale in existance?

Kootenay True Ale--2001 12 oz. Bottle. 5.00% ABV. (3.75 / 5.0) Golden Ale. Clear light golden color. Mild floral hop front. Crisp pale malt body with light malty sweetness and bisquit hints. Slightly spicy hop finish with touch of citrus. Nice mild ale. Sampled 8/6/2001.

This has actually been one of my more consistent favorite basic ales for some time. Its nothing great but always palateble bringing crisp fresh hops and a smooth finish. Its crafted very consistently.

Haad at the Columbia Brewery. If you are ever going through Creston, you need to stop. Tours are 2 bucks canadian. A pretty plain amber ale. Lacking a unique personalioty, this beers taste comes from mostly grainy malts and hints of light fruits. Appearance is average, and no aftertaste. Overall, a pretty good beer. Remarkably close to Columbia brewerys Kokanee gold.
