2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.33l bottle brought from Albania by a friend (huge thanks, Kreimir!), shared with ogivlado
Poured a nice darker red-brown body with a big off white-tan head. A pungent milk caramel nose, just lightly dusty. The taste is, well, milk caramel again, or maybe just milk someone dissolved some brown sugar in. Some lightly acidic bitter hoppiness shows up too to save the day. Simple, but not unpleasant and more solid than it seemed at first. Coming from Albania, it’s adequately strange tasting, but manages to exceed the very low expectations. And someone should really teach them what "Pils" means.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0,33 l bottle brought from Albania by a friend. Looks like a Dunkel but does not quite taste like one (the label does say Pils). The taste is overwhelmingly bitter, dry and very spicy with some caramel aromas traceable at the finish. Spicy aftertaste. Better than the other two Albanian beers I had, but still not very satisfying.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, small beige head. Aroma of spicy caramel. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and light body. Short flavour of dusty chocolate, brief cocoa bitterness. A simple but quite drinkable beer. Surely the darkest "pils" ever...
