(bottle) pours a clear dark ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of raisins, burnt toffee, caramel and chocolate fudge, with a hint of roasted malts and herbal hops. flavour is mostly the same, though very sweet and slightly meaty, with additional notes of caramel and bread dough. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Lots of caramel in the aroma, together with some dark bread and raisins. Sweet taste, not too full body but the alcohol is nicely hidden, light bitterness. Hasn’t got anything in common with "Irish beer" but for darker malts being used. It’s a drinkable dunkel, nothing more and nothing less.

500 ml bottle. 32A. BB 29/01/2013. Gastropub Nordic, Tampere, Finland. Coppery colour with tiny off-white head. Metallic malty aroma with diacetyl and mild alcohol. Flavour is sea water, some sweetness and dried fruits. Quite bad to be honest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with thick but unstable slightly tan head. Clear aroma of malt. Malty, slightly raosted taste. A little dry aftertaste. Not bad, but I keep wondering what warrants the name.

50cl bottle. brown, amber and filtered liquid with small head. Nose : burned toffee with caramel. Some honey, ginger bread. Sip : low to medium density with creamy texture. Well carbonated, a bit too much in my opinion. Burned malts with strong alcohol flavor. Very sweet. Not my kind of beer. The beer has only 6.5 alc. but behaves as if it had much more.

0,5 l bottle, courtesy of Tonycaviar, thanks!
Poured dark reddish-brown with a small off white head. Light sweet aroma with some roasted malt and caramel notes. Similar sweet tastes of roasted malt, toffee, alcohol. It needs some development

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2010 These beers have a sweetened cola essence to them that is making me ill, and it is in so many of the bottled dark beers. Ugh. OK, so maybe there is some nice rotting wood in there too. But in a slightly good way.
