Deep amber colour with a rich malty aroma, chocolate and caramel taste, a creamy head and slight bitter finish. Reminiscent of a good home brewed beer.

Good hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour with small but durable head. Some lacing. Refreshing bitterness in taste. Lasting hoppy mouthfeel. One of the best widely available beers in Poland.

Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 6, 2011
bottle, many thanks to Schroppfy! Clear, deep golden yellow, large white head, leaving lots of lacework. Aroma of hops and caramel. Malty base with a rustic, grainy, bready, bicuity character and some hints of caramel. There are 5 different hops in the beer: bitter hops Marinka (PL), bitter-aromatic Sybilla (PL), Lublin aroma hops (PL), also Zatec hops from CZ and Tettnanger from D. The beer has a nice hoppy character, well-balanced, biter and aromatic. There is a tiny touch of smoke or something burnt present, which makes the beer more and more interesting with every sip. A pleasure - anytime again!

Well-hopped (written on the label: from five different hop varieties), fresh, subtle and pleasing. The slightly bitter aftertaste. It just makes a fresh impression. The best Pilsener from Poland, which I have ever tasted!

Swaroga (790) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 13, 2012
50cl bottle. Filtered, clear golden liquid with small white head. Nose ; yeast, floral notes like acacia, bread, hay. Sip : low density with creamy texture and tingling feeling when it comes to carbonation. Sweet malts with good feeling in the mouth. Hop bitterness is fighting with sugar. Some sour and little metallic aftertaste. There are 5 different hops in it and the hop flavoring is mild. I would expect more from the hop side. Anyway, for a pils it taste much better them most of what I tasted here in Poland.

thewolf (9882) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours completely clear golden with a lovely, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is mild, soft grass, light brewing cereal. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is quite grassy, soft pine, light hay, doughy malts. Good balanced pils. Shame the aroma is a bit bland.
