American IPA – the first association that appears when hearing AIPA is a rich nose of aromas. AIPA bewilders you with hop aromas of citrus origin, flowers, pine forest or tropical fruit. The beer is of copper to amber hue with orange flickering. Due to dry hopping it may be a bit hazy. The beer is covered with a firm, small bubble , thick head. In the flavor similarly to the aroma we find all the awesome accents of the used hops. The distinct and pronounced bitterness and hoppyness is balanced with a malty base backbone. Despite the presence of the malty side the beer is neither caramel dull nor thick and heavy. The hoppy aftertaste should not be acute, but inviting to taking another sip. To sum up we can state that the beer is remarkably drinkable and it makes the most out of American hop varieties.

Ingredients: water, barley malts, wheat malt, hops: Cascade, Chinook, Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, Amarillo, yeast. Hopped seven times. During mashing, added to the primary fermentation wort, 4 times to the brewing cauldron, dry hopping. IBU: 85. Brewing method: traditional, top fermentation, non-filtered, pasteurized, Beer style : AIPA, alc. 6.0% vol., hue: amber, clarity: hazy, shelf life 2.5 month.

Bottle. Almost clear orange body, medium head. Aroma has Cascade and Citra. Sweet caramelly and piney taste with Cascade and Citra. Dry and mildly resinous finish with piney hops. Too much "piney" instead of "fruity" going on. Not as refreshing as a fruity unfiltered IPA which I’m craving now.

Bottle. Pours dark golden, clear, lovely frothy head, great lacing. Aroma of pomelo, lychee, pineapple (?), malt. Taste: pomelo, grapefruit, spruce, grain, lychee, yeast. Very good AIPA, very drinkable. It’s nicely sweet but not too sweet.

0.5L bottle. Amber color with lot of small bubbles and nice medium top. Fresh citrus fruit and the same time autumn flowering period end aromas. Not just fresh vegetables, floral, leather, boiled potato with peel flavours. Roast and rest of overcooked toffee mouthfeel. Pleasant bitterness and floral finish. Quite sexy beer.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber color. Medium size, thick off-white head, stays. Sweet, tropical fruits, pine, caramel in aroma. Sweet, fruity, hops in taste. Nice sweet bitter aftertaste. Slightly dusty too. Leaves mouth somewhat dry so you want another sip. Nice one!

Dark amber colour, hazy. Middle sized head, medium bubbles. Very fresh, intensive aroma: pineapple, peach, floral. Taste: hop heavy, pineapple, berries, peach, bit earthy. Lots of hops but more refreshing than bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, lots of bubbles and yet leaves a refreshed, hydrated palate. Superb beer, great combination of hops, distinct hoppiness without going overboard.

Aroma of citrus is not as strong as in other polish AIPAs. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Really nice, long, bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Pours little bit hazy, amber color, with nice tan head. Lots of tiny hops or maybe something else... too much, small to big white and looks quite nasty. Nice lacing tho. In nose mostly pineapples and grapefruits, great fresh aroma. In mouth also fresh, grapefruits, very drinkable. Medium body, creamy texture, but also little bit sticky at the end. Bitter finish, but it could be better. Average to soft carbonation. Tasty and ugly AIPA :-)

Bottle (09.03.2014) - Aroma: Mostly fruit and citrus but too intense. Taste: Quite bitter, nice and enjoyable. I prefer the older versions of this beer.

Piwo butelkowe.

Bottle, pours light amber, white head, nice lacing. Much sediment on bottom. Hoppy aroma: citrus and spruce, some malts in backgroud might be better. Very balanced taste, medium bitterness, full body, creamy, short bitter finish.
