Bootle. Aroma dominated by fruity flavours. No hops aroma or very little. Appearance: brown and hazy like dunkelweizen. Tan, not too big head. Medium sweetness and bitterness. I expected more malt tastes and more sweetness like in classic bock. I consider that carbonation too high.

Zmętnione, brązowe piwo z niezbyt bujną, szybko opadającą pianą. Bazę aromatu stanowi bananowość z której przebijają sie nuty suszonych owoców, zwłaszcza śliwek. W smaku ciekawe połaczenie słodyczy i kwasowości.

50cl bottle. W8. Creamy, hazy, dark brown beer. Smells of abbey beers, but tastes like dunkelweizen with extra yeast, body and alcohol. Slightly to sweet for my taste. Oily and sticky finish - which is enjoyable in this beer. Reminds me of port wines for some reason.

Brązowe, zmętnione z puszystą szybko znikającą pianą. Aromaty bananowe, nuta suszonej śliwki, karmel oraz trawiaste nuty chmielowe. W smaku wyczuwalny alkohol, karmel, delikatnie śliwka. Piwo raczej słodkie, rozgrzewające, bardzo przyjemne do picia.

0.5 bottle. Dark brown, impenetrable liquid and a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma of malts, cinnamon, yeasts, dough, apple mousse, bananas, and plums. Taste is also relatively sweet though this time a lot of sourness and some hops are present as well; again fruits such as plums and apples, delicate maltiness, and a few spices. Full body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is a bit more on the fruity, vinous, sour side yet not to a fault. Overall the beer is great, an uncanny combination of two styles is what makes it so special but it also has some intrinsic touch of quality - definitely recommendable.

Has a sweet aroma of malts and dense caramel. It’s hazy, copper color, with rather small head. It’s highly carbonated. In taste it’s a bit alcoholic. Has mostly notes similar to this in the aroma - malts and caramel. There is somewhere a tiny tiny banana note as well. In overall it’s quite good and interesting.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2014 Good for the price. I sense some pumpkin and bananas in the taste - probably they used some spices in the brewing process. Depending on when i drink it, different flavors come out. Very rich.

Pours a cloudy dark amber with thin foam film. A nose of bread dough. Complex taste slightly fruity and herbal with just a hint of sweetness.

Batch #10, Creamy head, quickly disappearing, beer has a brown color, cloudy. High carbonation, bitterness is very low (as it should be in that style). Aroma is very complex, bananas on first place, some plum sweetness, alcohol is noticeable, but not annoying. Taste, is very soft, very drinkable, sweetness with sour finish from malts. Aftertaste, alcohol warms up a throat, which is OK, some fruit notes stays too. All in all it’s a good beer, (but sweetness could be lower).

Bottle. Big head, brown, hazy. Aroma: Banana, sweet malt, some clove, alcohol. Taste: dry, very low sourness, low bitterness. Flavor of bread, cake, some chocolate. Full body, oily, good for long sipping after a cold day. Like it very much!

Aroma: wheat, vanilla, dairy, light sour. Appearance: slightly hazy dark brown, creamy beige medium head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light sour coming up, vanilla, milk / yoghurt, light bitter in the relatively short finish. Overall: OK Weizenbock, not my favourite, the milk/yoghurt notes are slightly weird. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.
