Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Stas. Headless dark brown. Very roasty, a little coffee and chocolate aroma, a little alcoholic but big and malty - a little roast too. Fuul-bodied, woody finish.

500ml bottle [Tanja & Verena, thank you very much again, you have a knack for detecting a gem on every journey you take]. Darkest brown colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Spicy dark malty aroma has notes of roast, dark chocolate, lovage, treacle, liquorice. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty, hints of treacle, dark chocolate, also a dry, roasty dark malty as well as a slightly nuttily touch, some liquorice; oily texture, sticky palate. Rich but not complex (in Luhmann definition: a system is complex iff not all components of the system are directly connected to each other), i.e. balanced and integrated.

Beautiful coffee and roast aroma. Speaking about the dye I think it’s too bright, too transparent. But has amazing lacing. Taste is just like aroma, but much stronger, just awesome. You can feel a little bit of alcohol, but it’s not disturbing at all. Overall it’s just great great beer!

Wypiłem już trochę butelek Warmińskiego i stwierdzam wyczuwalne różnice miedzy warkami. Wyczuwało się to m.in w stopniu nagazowania piwa.
