Bottle. A reddish dark brown beer, looking clear, and it’s topped by a minimal sized dark beige head. The aroma has some butterscotch, as well as toffee and molasses. Sweetness, a solid dose of licorice, some roasted malts, a faint alcohol touch and molasses in the flavor. Full body, lightly sticky on the palate. Roasted end.
