Very Sweet malty aroma. Strong flavour ot roast malt making this beer a little sour and bitter at the beginning with very sweet finish. Alcohol notes not very prominent for a beer with 9% ABV. Head very thick and brown. Colour nearly jet black. Still has some brownish golden accent in it. I enjoyed this beer very much. On of the best baltic porters i drank.

Pours pitch black with minimal lacing. Aroma is coffee notes, espresso, chocolate and roasted malt. The initial taste reveals some espresso, chocolate with some bitterness. A nice balanced beer that’s easy to drink despite the abv, which is well hidden. I wouldn’t turn another one down.

Many thanks to Werckmeister for this bottle! Intense roasted beginning with lots of burned caramel. Intense and sticky but still easy to drink. The Alcohol is not too intense, malt, burned caramel and a moderate sweetness. Low level of hops, viscous black liquid. Long and caramelly intense aftertaste with lots of burned malt. Great stuff!

Piwo ciekawe, zapach świetny, czuć czekoladę, likier kawowy, mocny banan, niezwykle wkomponowana paloność słodów. Piana gęsta, dość drobna, opada, ale bardzo ładnie zdobi szkło. Smak adekwatny do zapachu, czuć mocno kawę, praliny, banan, trochę wanilię i aromaty korzenne. Alkohol dobrze wkomponowany, nie jest zbyt mocno wyczuwalny, ale bardzo przyjemnie rozgrzewa. Świetne piwo na zimowe wieczory, dla amatorów potrera dobre na codzień, polecam!

Toffee caramel, chocolate. Thick body. Rich hop aroma with sweet sharp malts. Smooth body body, very nice. Much better than expected. Can stand up against the American giants! (ZeeBra)

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2016 Original rating @ 3.6 , ZEBF13 smell is typical porter. pours browsn, no foam . very soft carbo. very sweet, malty. drinkable.. not that unique re-rate ( proper portion as I now have a full bottle ) @ september 2016 . Obtained in a trade. best by December 2016, so a bit older . I def underrated this a lot. it is a very rich porter with clear coffee and chocolate tones, extremely intense roastyness, suberb body and in general thé styleexample of a polish porter. Poland can be proud, and this beer def fully deserves it’s newly given score.

Zeebra Extreme Beer Festival - Jet black, no head. Aroma of sweet, roasted malts and alcohol together with dried fruits. Has some red wine like characteristics. Flavour has creamy, bittersweet roasted malts. Tastes like a coffee-chocolate bonbon. A bit on the boozy side but rich and warming.

Pours nicely, forms pretty good, light-brownish head. Aroma feels coffee-like, sweetened with caramel and then summed up to feel like a bar of dark, bitter chocolate. It’s just so great. Some liquorish hints can be distinguished as the beer warms up. Head reduces to small pillow of dense foam, which stays there almost untill the end of consumption. Purely black with reddish hints on the sides. Complex taste, first sip feels like sweet coffee, then it becomes more bitter to feel like roasted espresso until it reaches lightly sour finish. Medium-full body, doesn’t feel too sticky in mouth, but you can tell it’s dense. Lightly carbonated. Enjoyed in House of Beer, Cracow.
