COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Commercial description:
The history of the creation of this beer was long and uneasy. The direct inspiration came with the opinions and suggestions of consumers, Internet users in particular. In this way a chocolate flavoured dark lager beer was created which stimulates your senses "shockingly". Substantial, velvet, with a delicate hoppy bitterness covered with chocolate - caramel sweetness. "Szoko" is rather not addressed to the conservative aficionados of the traditional taste. It is for people expecting new, unusual and surprising sensations. Try and find out if it is a beer for you.

Ingredients: water, pale barley malt, dark barley malts, sugar, hops, chocolate aroma.
Brewing method: traditional, pasteurized,
beer style: chocolate flavoured dark lager,
alc. content 5.8 % avb;
ext. 16,5 P;
hue: dark-cherry-brown,
expiry date: 6 months from the production time.

Bottle. Dark brown with a small yet durable head. Aroma is cheap milk chocolate, vanilla, some coffee and some coconut milk. Smells a bit like synthetic powder cappuccino. Tastes way better. Only light to medium body, quite sweet but not cloyingly so, very faint roasted bitterness in the finish together with an aftertaste of milk chocolate, coconut and vanilla. Could use a stronger bitterness and some real chocolate but it’s still surprisingly good.

Ładny aromat czekolady, wiśni i wiśni w czekoladzie. Dość intensywny. Piwo jest klarowne, barwa brunatna z rubinowymi refleksami. Niemal brak piany.

Czuć też likierowy alkohol, kawę latte i colę.

Aroma: beautiful and strong scent of dark chocolate, with orange peel. Some cocoa is present too. Some alcohol but in a good way, like in those liquor filled chocolates. Appearance: dark brown with creamy, medium lasting head, nice lacing right after you pour it, but later on the lacing disappears. Taste: very sweet with light bitterness in the end. Palate:medium body, low carbonated, quite smooth. It’s not a regular beer. It’s very tasty. I love it.

Appearance: Transparent dark color with some ruby notes, and a nice beige head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Dark malty, toffee, caramel and rich chocolate.
Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet with a mild bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Dark malt, toffee, bready and rich chocolate.
Overall impression: If you like Sheridans liquor, you will definitely like this one. Otherwise you better save your money!

Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Creamy tan foam is the best of this one. Overwhelming sweetness and strong toffee-candy aroma. It should be marketed as a base for candy bars, not beer.

Swaroga (1544) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 25, 2013
50cl bottle. Dark red with a small tanned head. NOSE : Strong aromas of toffee and chocolate liquor. SIP : creamy with good carbonation. The beer is sweet like hell. It is cloying sweet till the end. It reminds me of a Doctor Pepper drunk with chocolate. The finish is short. OVERALL : difficult to drink it. The smell is really delicious for a desert. The beer is putting off with a very strong toffee flavor and overwhelming sweetness. The flavor seams a bit chemical.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2013 Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Small to medium sized off - white head on top of a dark reddish colored beer. Horrible aroma of chocolate and that horrible horrible "hopjesvla". Oh god it tastes like that as well. Straight drainpour for me. Oh my god this is filthy stuff.
