Das beste Pilsener aus Thüringen kommt ausgerechnet aus einer Schwarzbierbrauerei, hehe! Mildwürzig und wohlbekömmlich, kein Überflieger, aber sehr anständig!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Skinnyviking (5956) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. High fluffy white lasting head leaving long curtains. Clear yellow body.. Weak sweet malty aroma, Flavor like the aroma sweet barley malt with little hops bitterness, pretty watery and honey like but without the hops bitternesse I like. Watery, anonymous, boring but technically ok. Low carbibatuib, Short sweet finish. I guess this is how the Germans wnat them.

Pale golden beer with a frothy white head. A particularly wheaty aroma, with hints of fruit. Fizzy mouthfeel. The wheat element comes through in the flavour, along with a sweetish biscuity malt taste which lasts right through to the finish.

50 cl, clear bottle. Why does any brewery still use clear bottles?? Pale gold color, fizzy carbonation leaves a tiny, thin head on top of beer. Nose is malt and grain. Taste is sweet malt, straw and a mild bitterness that has a crisp, dry bitterness. Grassy hops. Weak bread notes. I guess overall, it’s standard for a style I don’t drink often. Even for being shipped in a clear bottle it doesn’t show any problems.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 stevoj (925) - Ramstein-Miesenbach, GERMANY - JUL 3, 2012
Half liter bottle from a mixed case, poured into conical pilsener glass. Very clear light yellow with lively carbonation and thick, but light head. Strong nose of hops. Typical German Pils , very drinkable. Mild grassy, almost hay-like taste, but no bitterness. I’m more familitar with (and they’re more widely known for) their schwarzbier, but this was quite enjoyable.
