50cl bottle @ home shared with dad. Slightly unclear yellow to orange-color, small to medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, a bit hay-ish and lightly some bitterness. Low to medium body and carbo.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Orange appearance with an off white head. Big grassy, straw, slightly toasty malty, light caramel aroma. Moderate caramel, toasty malty, thick grassy, hay flavor. Not all that bad, actually.

Pour out of 500 mL bottle is clear red with thin off white head, aroma has notes of slight cardboard, slight grain, hints of cardboard, slight grassy notes. Taste is a mix of dark cherry, biscuit, caramel, hints of biscuit, grass, bits of slight vanilla and buttery biscuit, finishing fairly sweet.

Everything I want in an Oktoberfest. Hoppy yet not overpowering. Caramel toasted malts with a very slight spice.

I got a 500mL bottle of this as a closeout deal at Woodman’s in Rockford, IL in early 2012 for $1.99.
Pours a cloudy, copper color with a slight head on it. The scent is mild with grassy grains and a slight bit of spices. Taste is malty but rather watery for an Oktoberfest beer. I found some spices in the taste but not as many as I was expecting. Good drinkability and decent taste but probably one of the weaker Marzen beers I have ever had before but seeing how it’s April, I won’t complain too much.

Pours a murky golden color with little head or retention. Nose is toffee candy malt and herb. First sip is herbal hop and light malts on a medium body. Mild cocoa and molasses and biscuit follow. Very palatable. Tasty Märzen.

500ml bottle. Pours clear light orange amber with a big creamy off-white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is sweet, almost sugary, toasted malts and toffee.
The flavor is the same - sweet sugary toasted malts with a dry finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent Oktoberfest. Too sweet and toasty for me.

Vegas bottle. Didn’t even know they made a fest beer. Pretty malty and caramelly overall with a little spice in the finish. Okay I suppose.

Toasty nutty caramelly grassy a little skunky. Pours orange amber. Flavors of nutty toasted malts caramel grass earth skunk. Medium carbanation. Easy on the palate.
