Oftmals getrunken - anständiges Schwarzbier mit Aromen von Kaffee, Toffee geröstetem Malz. Mir etwas zu süßlich.

50 cl can. Black and opaque, with a thick, creamy khaki cap and nice lacing. Aroma: Caramel and light roasted malt. No hop presence. Taste: Starts with bready malt sweetness, turns to some caramel and touch of dark fruit, and finishes with roasted malt and bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium body with a light to moderate carbonation. Finish: Very dry finish, with a hint of lingering roast.

Mostly flat, medium carbonation, medium size bubbles, head stays for decent amount of time. Distant caramel, bread, a bit dry, but not completely, medium bitter aftertaste. Nice dark brown color. Can be a bit ale-ish on the nose. Not bad when you don’t want anything special.

Not much depth in this lager. Faint elements of roasted malt, bitterness and sweetness. I tried a one in a siedel and it was rather flat. I had another in a tall pilsner glass; a big improvement in carbonation bumped up this beer from passable to good.
