Flasche aus einem Edeka in Berlin. - Tiefes Schwarzbraun.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a nice black color with a decent one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some nice slightly foamy lacing sliding right down the sides of the glass. The smell had a delicate balance of sweet dark fruits gently rolling into a nice roasty sweet chocolate. The taste was mainly the same thing and it left a watery finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium and showed a nice sessionability about it. The carbonation was extremely smooth and slightly velvety. Overall, well, this was a very nice Schwarzbier to have. I totally recommend.
