Cereal-like aroma with toasted notes..... toasted cereal aroma. Also prominent basement and alcohol scents. Beautiful reddish-amber body with gem-like clearity. Minimal white head that leaves tiny amount of lacing. Light bitter taste that jibes well with the toasted and roasted aromas. Medium-bodied beer with a slick texture. Soft carbonation accompanied by a pleasant bitter finish.

Not very intensive aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Medium head disappearing to ring. Clear dark brown colour. Pleasant taste of roasted malts with minimum sweetness and noticeable bitterness.

Bottle. Apperance: dark brown with tiny head that disappears very quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma: roasted malt, a little bit of coffee and coca cola, very weak. Taste: caramel, dark bread and some hints of dark fruits and alcohol. I haven’t noticed notes coming from the hops. Medium carbonation and quite good drinkability. Not bad but very simple one.

felt like the style, and tonight was in the mood for a light flavorful beer - which descibes this one well. beautiful pour, near black with a khaki pillow on top. nice aroma of roasted malt, with a little nut, coffee, chocolate, and hops. similar flavor with a nice dry finish, and a kiss of smoke. light and refreshing."

Tap. Pours an opaque dark brown with a thin layer of tan head. Taste and aroma of some lightly roasted malts.

Roasty nose. Flavor is more roast, minerality, moderate astringency which interrupts an otherwise very good dark lager.

Dark, charred and roasty, malty but not overly full. Crisp with hints of nuts and caramel, though not too sweet.

0.5L bottle. Pours clear black with a rocky tan head that lingers. Aromas of coffee, molasses, bready malt and some iron. Very mild sweetness that quickly goes to strong roasted malt and coffee flavors. Finishes with dry, roasted malt bitter and licorice flavors. Medium body with a thin moutfeel and active carbonation. Overall, it’s a fairly unidimensional beer in emphasizing the roasted malt, but very quafable.
