2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Tap (Koht, Tallinn)
Grainy aroma, some sweet, some rough aspects. Straw colour, persistent head. DMW, were you responsible for MCE on the n900? Because this is truly one of the shittest pieces of software I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to be victim of. Fuck system software, you may have been better than the browser team, but that’s saying that retards are smarter than monkeys. Anyway, as I have to type my fucking review at this keyboard, I may as well as cover the beer as well as insult the people who make seeing the keyboard hard. Pretty rough lager in the taste, not a pleasant thirst quencher at all. Possibly an overrate, but I like the fact it kept its head.

Vycap Richtar Jakub. Zlata farba, pena pekna biela, husta. Vona chmelova, travnata s citrusovymi tonmi. Chut velmi osviezujuca s lahkym sladovym zakladom a prijenou horkostou. Pekne pivo plzenskeho typu.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Certainly the best Czech pilsener I’ve had. This is huge on the palate with a great aroma of sour plums and apples, mash malt, and light saaz hops. Pours cloudy orange with great head and lacing. Finishes with light sourness and some crisp barley notes. Palate is big, slightly thick and creamy with soft carbonation. Tap at Churchkey.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Les Trois 8 (Paris). Clear yellow/golden with a small fully lasting white head and intense lacing. Aroma is of breadied malt, cereals, saaz, grass and some sweetness. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with breadied malt and grass. Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Somewhat dry finish. Crisp and clean. Drinkable aplenty and quite refreshing. Nice balance. Really good!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one poured a golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy and herbal hops with some cracker notes. Flavor was similar, bright noble hop tastes, doughy too.

Draught. Aroma is malty, with some butterscotch, but also with a classy hoppy aroma. Beautiful frothy head, which lasts very long. Medium bitterness. Medium body. Goes well with food. Perfect example of style.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at rlrl. Yeasty bread-like aromas. Pours slightly hazy golden blond with a very thick dense white head. Crisp lager, malts upfront with balancing grassy notes, hints of light fruits with traces of dough. Finishes with a spicy dry grassy flavor. Excellent! Love the lively carbonation and smooth body.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Not as perfect as the kvasnicove version, but very good indeed. A bit darkened golden body with very nice foam. Aroma of hops with a bit of honey. Tastes more malty but ends by a good dry hoppy finish. Very-very nice
