yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 From tap at Koutland. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with and light lacing white head. Medium dry malt aroma with a light spice note. Flavour is mild spiced and medium dry bitter. Smooth and light fruity towards the finish. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Golden with a lasting off-white head. Crisp malt aroma with bread and grain, with hints of hops like grass and hay mostly. Clean and dry malty flavour. Awesome work on the malt, now if only it had a little more hop character... Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jul 4, 2008 Tap at koutland. Alround rating: Pale lager malts, floural and yeasty, cornish dycetyl note is clean and drinmkable. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 3, 2008 Draught at Koutland. Clear deep golden, small head. POwerful grassy nose. Quite dry with light-medium body. Clean bready dense malt accompanied by almost licorice-liek grassy hops. Long bitter finish. Less soft than the 12° kvasnicovy, and also missing a bit of the lovely diacetyl. Still really good! Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2008 Draft. A dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel as well as hints of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. ekstedt (2411), Göteborg, Sweden Jul 2, 2008 Updated: Mar 10, 2009Draught at Koutland, Plzen, Czech Republic. A darker orange/amber body. I deserve to be slapped for rating this after only having it on a tired palate... Again with the sweetish malty and yeasty yoghurty nose, but with a strong hoppy presence. A strong taste and yet superbly balanced between the lovely hopiness (my notes say "hop" at least three times in two rows, that’s how great it was.) and a maltiness that was ever so slightly eggy. I want to get this again.
