Draught, Domazlice. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread/grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, orange), with a note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Wonderful pils. Very classy and balanced and juicy. Fil is a lucky guy to be able to drink this any day of the week.

re-rate: koutland might be a bit of a dump but i can’t help but keep going back for this stuff, often just with some PET bottles in hand which they dutifully fill. anyways, this gets better every time i drink it, so balanced, so bitter, an amazing splotchy head, the perfect beer, as far as i’m concerned. on tap at U Škodovky in pilsen. utterly still amber colour - looks like honey, big and frothy off-white head that refused to go away. fresh saaz aroma - grassy, faintly minty, hugely buttery texture reminiscent of krakonos, decent bitterness, lightly metallic but in a good way, classy stuff from a very exciting brewery

Draught at Koutland in Plzen. Clear golden - white head. Grainy, egg, white bread, light flowery, nice malty, grains, nice freshness. Ok - a bit butter/diacetyl and sourness.

Tap @ U Slovanske Lipy, Prague. Pours clear golden with a lasting creamy white head. Nose is fresh of yeast, lemon, hops and grass. Taste has a bit of buiscuit and loads of fresh and flavorfull hops. Medium and smooth body. What a quaffable and tasty Pils. Im in love with these Kout beers!

Clear deep golden color, or something - still dark pub, white head. Hoppy and roasted scent. Very very hoppy taste, nice and bitter. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness.

Shady golden color, white creamy head. Sweet and herbal hoppy scent. Tangerine, citrus, lemon taste. A bit caramelly as well. Spritzy mouthfeel, low to medium bitterness.

Clear golden color, big rocky almost orange head. Sweet, malty, herbal hoppy taste. Hoppy aftertaste. Herbal hoppy scent. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Draught at Koutland, Plzen. Clear golden colour. Very fresh, malty and flowery aroma. Good smooth, chewy mouthfeel, yet bit powdery. Very fruity with medium bitterness. Bready, fresh and hoppy overall.

on tap at Koutská pivnice in Domazlice. Large head, intensive hoppy nose. Quite hoppy taste, flowery hoppy, not bitter. Combined with fine malty aromas this makes a very intensive tasting lager.
