2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere
Aroma is sour and contaminated. It has hints of roasted malt too. Flavour is contaminated too. Most likely a bad keg as I heard that this was good stuff yesterday.

Dark chestnut with a thick head. The aroma is toasty and nutty with light molasses notes. Toasty, full-bodied with light coffee. Complex, full sugar maltiness. I like it - quality dark lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg, 6.3% ABV, at Kitty’s Public House, thanks to Matti for sharing. Rocky, beige head fading to a filmy layer. Good looking with its deep, mahogany coloured body. Aroma of plain, dark malts. Slightly burnt, malty taste containing hints of chocolate and caramel. Straight, malt-accented beer (Helsinki pub crawl, 06.02.2011).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Draught at Kitty’s, Helsinki - shared with Rune) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had roastedness and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, roastedness, sweetness, burntness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter and quite burn. I found this beer quite burnt for a dunkel but it was still quite pleasant.
