Can. Pours brown with a high head. Aroma sweet malts and brown sugar. Very typical, if not the standard of sweet Czech darks.

Pours a small light tan head. Dark in color. I get aromas of honey and faint caramel. It’s smooth to drink, and the honey tones is not overwhelming at all. It’s one of the best lagers I’ve had til’ now.

Bottle. Dark cola colour with a medium thin creamy head. Sweet aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is roasted malt. Watery texture with lively carbonation. One of my long time favourites of this style.

0.5 bottle. Pleasant aroma of dark roasted malts, a lot of coffee and some nuts as well. Pours a black liquid with scarlet tone, clear topped with a big creamy head. Sweet taste, rather soft although not to a fault. Medium body and what came as a surprise smooth, watery texture which impairs the typical warm sensation of a dark beer. Carbonation between average and soft inclining towards the latter. Definitely short finish. All in all it is a nice beer but nothing outstanding for its own kind, pretty shame it is spoiled with an excess of water.

Can. Pours an auburnish, dark cola with a large, off-white, quickly dissipating head. Aroma is grassy, soapy, metallic, malty. Taste begins as bready malts, quite sweet, some caramel. Finish is malty and herbal as is the aftertaste. Palate is light, quite carbonated, a bit watery. The taste is pretty good, just too sweet. The mixture of malt and herbal hops is great. Just gotta wonder why the need for the sugar? Would be a lot better without it.

Love it, great taste of Prague... Very delicate, with a taste of caramel, should be served in heavy glass stain (as in Prague).

500ml bottle. Nice foam, but it’s light body, smooth character, but hard, hoppy, roasty feeling. In opposite this, it has caramel and coffee smell but there aren’t any in taste.
