A nostalgic beer for me as one of the only dark beers available in the late 90s that wasn't stout - a good point of difference to all the tasteless lagers. Deep brown with a foamy mocha head. Roasted malt, coffee and milk chocolate on the nose. Sweet flavours of roasted malts, nuts, milk chocolate. A very mild bitterness to clean the beer up and make it very drinkable.

Deep brown amber colour on the body, with a nicely formed, two fingers tall beige head, thick, with very good retention.
Aroma of lightly roasted malts and milk chocolate.
On the taste little bit of caramel, more of the milky chocolate, some metallic notes. Light bitterness, especially on the aftertaste.
Medium thick body, average carbonation.
Tasty and with high drinkability, quite good.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2013 0,5L can and bottle with a nice brown design, that tells this is a dark beer, bought in Finland. Pours a very high head coloured as foam from cocoa-milk.
Scents of herbs, hops, some sourness, apples.
Red-brown beer with moderate carbonation.
Deep malty taste, chocolate-bisquit, some droplets water.
Mouthfeel pleasant, well balanced.
Light aftertaste, with some hints of malt and burnt chocolate.
This beer goes well with easy food. It is not a beer you drink 3-5 bottles an evening, but one or two.
Can rated 7/17/13 and bottle re-rated 8/14/2013. No big diffence from can to bottle.
