2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Terific fruity aroma. Tones of mollasses but a bit too much like lolly water to me. Drink as a novelty but thats about it.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep red beer with a roasty, caramel and burnt toast nose. Full roast malt flavour with some sweetness, although the taste gets dryer in the roasted, bitter aftertaste. Good stuff. (Bottle from Shop, Praha)

UPDATED: APR 30, 2005 Draught
One of my alltime favourites in the pub. Perfect dark brown colour with good head. Taste is easily drinkable malty and sweet vanishing with the pleasure at the end. (7/5/8/5/18 4.3)
Re-rate, bottled (BB 11/2004)
Dark ruby, espresso head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate aroma. Medium-bodied, sweet and roasted palate with late carbonation. Some hoppy bitterness in oily aftertaste as well as the notes of toffee. (6/5/7/3/15 3.6)
Re-rated, can (BB 01/2006)
Dark ruby, nice tanned head. Caramelly and grassy nose. Easy to drink, sweetish with light hops. (6/4/7/4/14 3.5)

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2004 Re-rated 24 nov. 2004. What really makes this beer stand out, is its roasted malty aroma with lots of dark fruit. Flavor is also sweet with dark grapes and raisin. Goes perfect with danish christmas food.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark ruby brown clear under a medium size short lasting beige head. Faint soapy roasted malt aroma. Medium light body low carb mouthfeel. Medium intensity sweet generic cola and roasted malt flavours. Malty cola like finish and aftertaste. Somewhat one dimensional. Lo al probably doesn't help retain/develope any complexity. Gets a lot worse as it warms - something like an artificially sweet weak black iced instant coffee.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(dutch ratebeer meeting) Smell is not great; hoppy, bit skunky. Clear, dark coloured with a thin head. Taste is malty. Thin and smooth palate. I can't be too excited about this one.
