Produced from special dark malts, which is why even its foam is dark.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, leichte schokoladige Noten, leicht würzig.

Malty aroma. Lighter in body than the appearance would suggest. Slightly farmy/hay taste.

0.5L bottle, brewed in CZ, poured into glass. Off white head, fast to dissipate. Color is very dark red. Clear and sparkling. Strong malt aroma, with caramel and chocolate hints. Very little hops. Almost no bitterness. Light sweetness, medium body. Average carbonation. Overall - unsophisticated, but very enjoyable beer; better than most common macro lagers (which granted are of the pale variety).

Zarkam (375) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 1, 2014
500ml bottle from a local supermarket in Helsinki, Very dark reddish brown colour, large fizzy mostly diminishing off-white head, fair lacing. Aroma of dark bread, molasses, toast and a hint of coffee and floral hops. Taste is initially quite balanced but a bit on the sweet side, turning into a slightly bitter finish with a slightly astringent feel. Lively carbonation, medium body, oily texture. Passable dark lager, the aroma and flavour could be more intense and it would even be good. Didn’t like the very mild hopping either, but I can certainly understand why many people who are not into "beer" as it is known here generally like it. Probably not a bad thing to drink with some pork-related dishes.

KeefOz (855) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2014
Poured a deep ruby red colour with a three-finger light tan foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation medium. Aroma subtly of roasted grain, sweet malt, a hint of fruit and maybe some chocolate. Taste of sweet malt and roasted malt with no hops bitterness. Light body. Smooth, crisp, clean with a slightly sweet finish. OK
